Brand New 3.2ha Intergenerational Park
Blackstone Park
Stantec Consulting Ltd. was hired by Mattamy Homes to design a brand-new 3.2ha intergenerational and accessible community park in Ottawa. The park includes two soccer fields, a tennis court, skating rinks, a splash pad, an accessible swing set, all-ages accessible playground, a sand box, a skate board park, an adult fitness area, a basketball key, community garden programming, and areas for naturalization and reforestation. During this time, Aaron assisted in pre-design and the schematic design of multiple options. He drafted working drawing sets at various stages of completion. He was responsible for the development of the planting concept. He prepared the drawing for presentation panels, by rendering the plan, both by hand and computer. This project is still in progress.
